   Proposal Description:
   We aim to examine the associations between Lewy body pathology and motor, neuropsychiatric and depression symptoms in participants with neuropathological AD Significance. While EPS and behavioral/neuropsychiatric symptoms are not required for the clinical diagnosis of AD, they can drop the quality of life of the AD patients and be eventually an important factor for medical intervention and nursing home placement. Thus, this study is significant because it will give consistent information about clinical features of LBVAD compared with pure AD. Thus, we will examine the associations between LBs pathology and UPDRS motor score, neuropsychiatric symptoms and depression in AD patients. Design. This study is about investigation of clinical parameters such as EPSs, neuropsychiatric and depression between AD (AD without LBs other than in the amygdala) and LBVAD (AD with LBs pathology).We will analyze differences of UPDRS motor score, neuropsychiatric symptoms and depression between participants with AD and those with LBVAD Definition of LBVAD. We will divide neuropathologically AD subjects into AD and LBVAD. LBVAD will be pathologically defined as AD subjects with at least one LB identified with ??S immunohistochemistry.
